Leaders in DevOps

OpenMake Software is the DevOps Authority, providing enterprise scale build, test and deploy process management and automation. Our solutions enable customers to reduce software development cycle times, improve communication between development and production control teams, increase developer productivity, and provide management with actionable audit and traceability reports.  We go beyond what our competitors can offer by providing developers a dynamic operations framework that does not depend on brittle static scripts.   Our solutions deliver on-demand cloud based server provisioning,  environment configuration management,  dependency management and continuous integration.

Our History

OpenMake Software has been the authority on the build, test and release process since 1995, providing Global 2000 companies with solid solutions for managing the development operations challenge.  Our experience has taught us that streamlining the build, test and deploy process cannot be done by cobbling together static scripts around a process engine.  Instead, we offer a dynamic DevOps framework that reduces cost through re-use, minimizes errors by achieving repeatability and openly communicates process through a shared community developed Knowledge Base.   OpenMake Software products are designed based on customer input; therefore developer productivity and the elimination of manual errors has been a primary focus.

Over 100,000 users at 400 companies worldwide use OpenMake Software products to manage their software build and deploy process across the enterprise from development to production. OpenMake Software also provides expert consulting to assist customers in implementing SCM, build, test and deploy processes. OpenMake Software has been privately held and self-funded since 1995.

100% Build to Deploy automation that is Developer Driven

See how American Family Insurance implemented a secure, developer driven, build to deploy process using OpenMake Meister and CA SCM r12. This demo was presented at CA World 2010 and at the CA technologies Global Lifecycle User Group Quarterly meeting in September of 2010. This demo has an excellent example of how Meister can parallelize the build to deploy process.

Meister added Transparency to the process...

"The implementation of Openmake Meister for build management allowed  BNSF to directly address one of their biggest challenges in the area of IT controls. This technology automated the team’s build processes, providing a  complete audit trail of changes, progression and approvals through each lifecycle stage. Finally, the implementation team used MKS Integrity Manager’s capabilities to manage the implementation itself." BNSF Technology Services Division - Learn More

Meister Standardized the compile process across the enterprise at UCLA ...

"UCLA's challenge was to standardize how builds and releases were processed, regardless of the development language used. OpenMake Meister provided this across the enterprise." University of Southern California, Production Control Team Lead - Learn More
